The selection and installation of motors and fans are critical to the safety and efficiency of ventilation systems and other industrial processes. International safety standards for motors and fans are set by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
One of the key international standards is IEC 60034. This standard specifies the safety and performance requirements for high-voltage electric motors. Based on the consumer's need, IEC 60034 can be applied to electric machines of different power without being limited to a specific range.

ANSI/UL 1004 is a standard for low-voltage electric motors. It establishes requirements for safety and electromagnetic compatibility, including protection against electrical shock and overload.
In the field of ventilation, IEC 60335 and EN 60335 are recognized safety standards for household fans and electrical appliances. These standards set requirements for safety, function and protection against electrical shock, overload and short circuit.
EN 60335-1 is the standard for small household electrical appliances. It specifies safety and performance requirements, including requirements for electrical safety, overload and short-circuit protection, and safety in humid conditions.
EN 60335-2-80, also known as "Safety standard for household and similar electrical appliances - Part 2-80: Additional requirements for ventilation systems", establishes requirements for the safety and functionality of ventilation systems used in domestic and similar environments. This standard covers various types of ventilation systems, including wall, window, duct, and other ventilation systems. It specifies requirements for the design, materials, electrical safety, testing and labeling of such systems.
Other important safety standards include UL507, which specifies requirements for the safe operation of electric fans. This standard is part of a series of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standards that ensure safety in electrical and electronic devices.
In addition, IEC 61000 regulates the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrical safety of electrical and electronic devices. This standard specifies requirements for
electromagnetic compatibility, which must be observed by devices for their proper functioning in an electromagnetic environment.
At Blauberg Motoren, we are proud that our products comply with the highest safety standards, including IEC 60034, ANSI/UL 1004, IEC 60335, EN 60335 and UL507. We have quality control systems in place to ensure that these standards are met at every stage of production.
Our electric motors are manufactured in compliance with IEC 60034, ensuring their safe, efficient and reliable operation. We also use materials that meet the requirements of ANSI/UL 1004 to ensure safety and overload protection.
Our ventilation systems are tested in accordance with EN 60335 and EN 60335-2-80 to ensure their safety in humidity conditions, electrical safety and functionality. We also follow the requirements of UL507 to ensure that our fans meet the standards for safe operation.
In addition, we take into account the requirements of IEC 61000 for electromagnetic compatibility to ensure that our devices operate stably and do not affect the operation of other electrical devices in the environment.
Our company prioritizes safety and quality in all aspects of our business. We continue to improve our processes and technologies to ensure that our products meet the highest safety standards and meet the needs of our customers.
